Jewelry should feel good on your skin — not something you have to second guess.

After a lifetime of dealing with skin allergies, we made it a priority to create pieces that are safe, comfortable, and easy to wear for long periods of time. That means no irritation, no constant removing, and no worrying about how your skin will react.

Our materials are selected with that in mind:

  • 18k Gold PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) — a process where a layer of real gold is bonded to stainless steel at a molecular level.

    This creates a finish that is highly durable, resistant to water and sweat, and less likely to cause irritation. Making it very hypoallergenic. You can wear it daily — from morning routines to showers and time outdoors — without worrying about fading or skin discomfort.

  • 14k Gold-Filled over Stainless Steel — a thicker layer of gold that is mechanically bonded to the base metal. This is much thicker layer than gold plated jewelry. While gold plating is a thin, electroplated layer under 1 micron; gold-filled utilizes a mechanically bonded layer that is usually 10+ microns thick, offering far superior durability and longevity

    This makes it long-lasting, tarnish-resistant, and a strong option for everyday wear, especially for sensitive skin.

Quality Materials, Responsibly Sourced

All of our materials are sourced within the United States to ensure consistent quality and responsible production standards, ensuring everything is ethically sourced. We only partner with suppliers and other small businesses we trust.

We use:

  • Genuine natural freshwater pearls and shells, each one unique in shape and finish.
  • High-quality gemstones, selected for their durability and natural appearance

These materials are chosen not just for how they look, but for how they hold up over time. Every piece is inspected and tested before they leave the studio. If they don't pass the true test, they don't ever land in your hands.

Small Batch Production

Every Charlotte’s Cove piece is made in small batches.

This allows for greater attention to detail, better quality control, and more consistency across each design. It also ensures that every piece is carefully finished and inspected before it reaches you. Because of this, quantities are intentionally limited — so each piece feels a little more personal, a little more unique, and not something you’ll see everywhere.

Giving Back

In 2011, I watched my grandmother (who helped raise me) — go through stage four breast cancer before she passed. That experience left a lasting impact and shaped something deeply important to me.

Since then, giving back has been a meaningful part of Charlotte’s Cove — a way to honor her and support others facing similar challenges.

We are proud to support and participate in organizations that are actively making a difference, including:

Texas Stars Foundation — supporting underprivileged youth and military families


Breast Cancer Resource Center (Austin) — a community-based nonprofit empowering those affected by breast cancer with personalized support and compassion, working toward a future where no one faces breast cancer alone.
